Longleaf Express is the general, personal blog of Andrew Sleeth, a North Carolina citizen and resident of its capital city, Raleigh.
Launched in April 2009, the posts and pages found at Longleaf Express encompass a plethora of topics, but often with a perspective flavored by more than two decades living in the “land of the longleaf pine.” As a consequence, many touch on subjects actively simmering in local public discourse, or that are particular to Raleigh, the Triangle region [points Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill] or the Tar Heel State as a whole. But that by no means dictates an exclusionary rule.
